Come visit Victor, the Northern gateway to the Finger
Lakes region of New York. Victor is a quaint small town
founded in the 18th century offering 21st century
amenities. Summer concerts and a farmers market at Mead
Square, Hiking, biking, great restaurants, shopping and
beautiful scenery.
Victor is easy to get to – just off I90 (exit 45) 13
miles south of the city of Rochester and 11 miles north of
Canandaigua Lake, one of the 5 Finger Lakes in the region.
Plan to say in Victor long enough to enjoy everything
it has to offer. Explore the local historical attractions
including Valentown Museum, the first ever shopping mall
built in 1878, and the Ganandagon Native American historic
site of the Seneca Nation. Casa Larga Vineyards is just
down the road.
There are several great local golf courses, nearby
skiing, great biking and maintained hiking trails. Also,
the Erie canal and Eastview Mall- one of the largest
upscale malls in New York. Then, take a day trip or two to
explore more of what the Finger Lakes has to offer. Try a
wine tasting at one of the many world class wineries.
Visit Letchworth State park, The Wine & Culinary Center,
Glen Curtis Aviation museum, Corning Glass Works, an Amish
market- the list is endless.
Make Victor your destination in the Finger Lakes for a
few days or a few weeks – there is always something
interesting to do.
